29 Dic Never Too Late
How a new (or in this case, an old) folding bike can give you a new lease of life
Tis the season of overindulgence! Well, this doesn’t always have to be the case. Whilst there is nothing wrong with relaxing and taking second helpings of festive treats once in a while, many of us will be thinking about keeping fit. So as gym memberships soar in January, take a moment to think about commuting by bike instead. Yes, it’s winter! But this doesn’t stop plenty of ordinary folk making their way to work or going for groceries by bike (check this great blog). Even easier if it’s a folder, just combine with public transport.
And it’s never too late to give it a try. We received this email from a man new to Dahon and folding bikes. We’re pleased to be able to share it with you:
“I just picked up a couple of Dahons for ten bucks each at two different yard sales, and put them together into one good bike. I just love it.
It is a real conversation starter, people are always asking me what it is and I always am happy to give a demonstration of proper folding technique, (which I learned on the internet :-).
I ride it everyday down to the market and this way I can keep my old lady and my cardiologist off my back, as I am now getting the exercise they are always
badgering me about. How cool is that?
Jonathan, age 72”
