22 Sep DAHON at Interbike 2018
We’ve just arrived back in Chicago after another busy year at North America’s biggest bicycle trade show, Interbike! This year saw Interbike move to their brand spanking new home of Reno, Tahoe and we have to say, their new home is even more awesome than their last!
First up at the show, held between 15-16 September, was Interbike’s all-new outdoor demo, held at the NorthStar California Resort. The 1.5 day event allowed visitors to get hands-on with our latest models by taking them for a spin on the dedicated demo track. The outdoor demo offered up the perfect opportunity to get outdoors and spend some time outdoors chatting with visitors and friends from the bicycle industry.
From 16 September the show moved indoors, to the Reno-Sparks Convention Centre. At DAHON’s booth, visitors had the chance to take an exclusive first look at our 2019 range of folding bikes and technology which includes a brand-new version of our most compact fold yet, the compact CURL i4 and of course our forthcoming gravel bike, the GB-1. The GB-1 is our new foldable, stowable gravel bike. The bikes aggressive low gearing makes riding across unfamiliar surfaces a breeze and the big 650 B fat tires help the bike float over any obstacles. The GB-1’s flatpack stem and folding pedals mean the bike folds down into a flat and easy-to-handle package that can be taken anywhere.
After the show wrapped, we got to spend some time polishing our curling skills 😉 We did pretty well don’t you think?
It was a busy week, but we had a lot of fun showcasing our latest technology, innovations and range of folding bikes for 2019 and it was great to catch up with some familiar faces, as well as many new ones. Until next year Interbike!
